Symphony Pro - Music Notation 6.5.2

Getting Started

• Import scores from various sources such as MusicXML, MXL, MIDI, or SP files from your computer or apps like Dropbox, Mail, iCloud Drive, or Safari.
• Create projects based on templates or start with a blank score and add additional parts later.

Editing

• Use Pencil mode to add notes by tapping anywhere on a bar and start editing immediately. Note properties can be easily specified before or after placing notes.
• In Select mode, you can transpose, erase, cut, and paste multiple notes or tracks with just one touch.
• Enter notes and chords quickly using an on-screen instrument, QWERTY keyboard, or Core MIDI compatible keyboard in step entry mode. You can also record parts in real-time with on-screen instruments and transcribe them into notation.

The latest versions of Symphony Pro (4 & 5) take full advantage of the iPad touchscreen capabilities. With shortcuts and contextual menus for editing note and bar properties, common editing commands are easily accessible.

Symphony Pro supports a wide range of notational elements including dynamics & articulations, time & key signature changes, clef changes, pedals, and repeat conventions. Chord symbols, lyrics, and annotations can be edited using the iPad's standard keyboard.

Export & Share

• Print out your score using AirPrint or export it as a PDF, MusicXML, AAC, MIDI, or Symphony file.
• Share files via email or transfer them directly to another computer or iPad using Dropbox or iCloud Drive.
